Campland on the Bay at 2211 Pacific Beach Drive, San Diego, California.

This is one of the best RV parks in Southern California. It is right on the bay and has a private beach that only the residents and the people that pay to use it can go on to it. The waves are very small since it's the bay, so it's great for younger children who might be afraid of the ocean tide, like my son is. We rented an aqua cycle one day we were there and although it's rented hourly, the clerk told us to keep it as long as we wanted because he didn't think we'd be able to keep it very long. Sure enough, after an hour our legs were exhausted and we returned it. We loved that the park had many different features including a dog park, I park for the child to play at, common campfires and things to do throughout the week, as well as a camp store.

I give it 3 stars bc, one night a beautiful group of kids joined my kids in dancing at a vacant site. The kids requested songs it was awesome time!! Dad's and grandparents joined in dancing! It was all done before the quiet time. Biggie security came rudely to my sitter said if I don't turn down the music and stop kids from dancing!!! I'm getting kicked out!! The songs were not vulgar, but at the pool the adults were playing vulgar songs that the kids and I got to listen too until 11!! The security guard not only needs lap band surgery but needs a swift kick in the butt!!!
