My 5 stars are for location. The park itself is ok. Nothing to write home about but it's clean, quiet and well maintained. My husband and I love the convenience and proximity to everything San Diego has to offer. Just a few miles from Pacific beach.

Pros: Location. This park is conveinent to downtown San Diego and all other attractions. The maintenance men are the friendliest and most accommodating. They were the most polite workers we came across.

Cons: Everything else. I should have known when people who work there are writing 5 star reviews to boost their ratings.

My first issue upon arriving, the staff was out to lunch, fine. I found our information packet posted on a board outside the office. Fine. Then when looking at the pages I realize the woman who took our reservation had written my credit card number on a piece of paper that was then stuck to an outside public notice board! Note to the park, people's personal credit card numbers should go directly into a computer, never onto a piece of paper that is then tacked to a notice board for public viewing. Especially when the park has a problem with homeless people coming in and out to use the facilities!

The park is basically a parking lot, though this is what most RV parks in California are. It is in between a highway and train tracks. There was never any peace, so if you're a light sleeper or looking for a relaxing getaway I don't recommend this place.

The WIFI never worked, at the price you pay to stay here all amenities should be working.

Laundry is $4.50 a load. They allow people to wash their pet things in any washer, dryer and just ask they wipe it down after. I did 3 loads of laundry and all came out smelling like wet dog, we don't have a dog. I would recommend they have dedicated washers and dryers specifically for pet supplies that need washing so the rest of us don't have to have pet hair and smells on our things.
